Aids to Navigation

Quick guide for my site.

This is page is for my most recent posts, If you are looking for The List in its entirety you can click on the tab up top. Also next to the list tab is the Completed section. There you will find all the completed items with links to their respective post or page. If you would like to read a story or see the pictures, all you have to do is click the line item.

There is an About me tab also, and Next to that one is the Practical info. Self explanatory.

To the right of this post are the tags. If you see a tag of particular interest, just click it and it will take to you the post or posts that are about that subject.

My Flickr album is below the tags, If all you want to see are the proof pictures of the list items you can visit my Flickr page.

Most importantly, to subscribe to my blog, and get email updates every time I make a new post, add your email to the Email subscription widget. You will only get an email if I post to the main page. No worries your inbox won’t get bombarded every time I correct spelling or do a minor update to a page.

Leave comments if you like. I am always looking for suggestions on how to make this site better, also if there is anything you think I should add to my list, by all means let me know.

Getting down with it, In Central Park

See a concert in Central Park

I have been a Dave Matthews Band fan since 1998, when my older brother first introduced me to the band’s music. The only reason I ever had any sexual experiences during high school is all thanks to Dave Matthews’ song writing… Chicks dig “Crash” on the guitar, they just do. This was probably one of the first things I learned about girls. Or at least chicks used to dig “Crash.” I don’t know what they like now, maybe some “Party In the USA” or some horrible song about fireflies. If Kit were to leave me now, I would be at a total loss of what songs to learn to play. Please, Kit don’t ever leave me! I wouldn’t be able to sit down and listen to Miley Cyrus long enough to learn her music, aside from “Party in the USA” I kinda like that one.

Anyway, back in 2003 DMB played a free concert in Central Park, ala Simon and Garfunkel, and since seeing a documentary on Simon and Garfunkel’s concert in Central Park, this was a no brainer addition to my list.

The concert experience was surreal. I have never been around such a drunk and high amount of people. All of them singing and swaying to the sounds. The concert was amazing and the Japanese food we had after was even better. One of my top five list items.

Click the link to buy the album from iTunes, It’s worth it.

An American Pub Crawl

Have a beer in every state

This isn’t a completed task at all, in fact I’m only 22% done with it. Nonetheless this is one of my favorite items to get done, since it combines my love of traveling and drinking. The rules for this one are simple. I must have a beer in every state, I can buy the beer, steal it, chug it, whatever. I just need to drink a beer within the state lines. I haven’t decided if I’m going to count drinking at an airport lounge, if I don’t leave the airport. (ie a layover or something along those lines.) I also won’t count drinking on a train moving through any states. Not to say I won’t drink on a train, I just will not count it towards the end total.

Here is a map of the states I have drunk in thus far. It is also posted permanently on the right sidebar of the blog. I’m going to add all the places I have drunk in and maybe a mini review of the bar I drank in.
